Meet Taylor
Hello and welcome! I’m a licensed therapist currently located in the Bay Area and provide virtual therapy to anyone located in California. I’m also an avid coffee drinker and enjoy cooking and being outdoors (preferably near some redwoods)!
In my practice, I work to support individuals struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, depression, challenges around body image, disordered eating, feeling connected to themselves or others, and those feeling stuck in the same patterns to learn skills and feel secure in their lives. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative with a bit of humor.
My work as a therapist is rooted in my own journey through therapy, I understand the trust and vulnerability it can take to change paths and stand in your truth to build the life you want. In our lives, we all desire connection, confidence, and ease - sometimes we just need some help reaching our goals. Reach out to learn more about how we can work together.
“Love has an immense ability to help heal the devastating wounds that life sometimes deals us. Love also enhances our sense of connection to the larger world. Loving responsiveness is the foundation of a truly compassionate, civilized society.”
- Dr. Susan Johnson
My Approach
My work is person-centered and rooted in the attachment and relational approaches in therapy. I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities, including somatic therapy, attachment, feminist theory, ACT, CBT, and DBT to collaborate, support, and empower you in your individual goals. Our client-therapist relationship is truly important in the therapeutic process and I work to create a safe, authentic, and nonjudgemental therapeutic space. Additionally, I utilize a Health at Every Size (HAES®) and body liberation informed framework throughout my practice to support you in your journey, whether that includes body image work, disordered eating, feeling connected to your body, or you just want a therapist who understands diet culture the way it impacts how we move through the world.
I am truly passionate about empowering and helping others build connection and feel secure, it's what led me to being a therapist and what motivates me every day. Whether your story includes feeling stuck, anxiety, shame or pressures around body image, struggles with your relationship with food, relationship challenges, codependency, a desire to explore your own identity, or any of the many facets of life that impact us, healing and empowerment are possible.
